SLOW ART DAY at the Art Depot

Host: Chrysalis Arts
Chrysalis Arts will be hosting a day of Slow Art themed events, including:
- MEANDERTHON: a 24 hour screening of the artwork produced as part of Meander - a video artwork created by volunteers who took part in a marathon walk throughout the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Pairs of volunteers walked a sections of the route while recording it on headband-mounted video cameras. These two recordings have been edited together into a synchronised, split-screen film which will be screened as one long film over a period of 24 hours.
- FAMILY WORKSHOP: A slow art themed family workshop for kids and adults to take part in. Content tbc.
- SLOW BBQ
Participants are welcomed to join in and take part in viewing the full 24 hour screening, bring your sleeping bag and some munchies!
Or drop in for some tasty food (veggies catered for), activities, games and a chance to meet some other creative like-minded people.
